Bukit Harapan is a non-profit, voluntary organisation for the physically and mentally handicapped registered on November 8th 1989 under the Trustees Ordinance Act (cap 148).

Founded by Anne Keyworth, its objectives are:

To help special persons regain their rightful human dignity and place in society.
To give a holistic education: academic development, social integration, home economics, etc.
To develop soul care in the special person - to help them understand, handle and develop their emotions in a proper direction.
To foster, as far as possible, the healing of their mental emotional and physical constitutients.
To train them according to their individual capabilities so that they would eventually become self dependant and useful citizens
To provide counselling and aid to the abused, negelected children and their parents.
